Our 2017-18 Officers and Board of Directors

Dr. Rick Green, M.D., FACS of the Salmon Creek Plastic Surgery was installed June 21 as the 2017-2018 President of the Rotary Club of Vancouver at the club’s 96th annual banquet at the Warehouse ’23 Event Center. Other officers are Jennifer Miltenberger, President-Elect; Bill Roller, President Nominee; Bruce Ziegman, Secretary; Les Mischke, Treasurer; Jason Martel, Sergeant-at-Arms and John McDonagh, Immediate Past President. Club Directors are Dick Kunkle, Temple Lentz, Jane Dudik, Jeff Allen, Jan Asai and Petr Burunov. Welcome new officers and board members!

Rotary Awards $88,000 in Scholarships!


The Vancouver Rotary Foundation awarded $88,000 in college scholarships to 22 Southwest Washington high school and college students at the Club’s annual scholarship luncheon at Warehouse ‘23 on May 24th. In 44 years, the Foundation has awarded more than $1.4 million in scholarships to local students.

The scholarships are granted by the Vancouver Rotary Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Vancouver. Many of the scholarships are made possible through endowments established by individuals and fundraising by Rotary Club members.

Scholarship winners were Trisha Beavers, Brenda Contreras Munoz, Marissa Valencia-Mendez, Zaleayah Blancas, Maddison Durr, Ellie Johnson, Joshua Holtz, Jonathan Dutson, Kristen Hall, Matilda Jakovac, Michaela Higgison, Emanuel Gales, Lauren Arave, Samantha Minter, Kaysee Warren, Leland Bennion, Navaraj Lamichhane, Mary Wiedrich, Alexis Crow, Haley Diment, Ayden Hackett and Elizabeth Rupp. They will attend a variety of schools including Clark College, Washington State University, University of Washington, Pacific Lutheran College, George Fox College, University of Portland, Western Washington University and Oregon State University.
